Getting Started
The University of Michigan libraries collect books, serials, and other resources in the field of biology to support the biology research and instruction performed by members of the University of Michigan community.
Most of the biology materials collected at the University of Michigan are housed in the Shapiro Library, either in the basement stacks or on the 4th floor. Specialized botany, zoology, and paleontology resources can generally be found in the Research Museums Library. Resources from all of these locations can be found using Library Catalog Search.
