The University of Michigan libraries collect books and periodicals in the field of biology to support the biology research and instruction performed by members of the University of Michigan community.
Most of the biology materials collected at the University of Michigan are housed in the Shapiro Science Library, on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Shapiro Library building. Many of the University's botany resources are housed at the University of Michigan Herbarium; zoology resources can generally be found in the Museums Library. Resources from all of these locations can be found using Library Catalog Search.
