Introduction
The Shapiro Science Library's collection includes information in print and electronic formats on many species. This research guide offers a sample of available resources on various species that can be found in select databases and websites. At this time, species covered are from the animal or plant kingdom only. Material is arranged in 3 types of access: Electronic resources (i.e. indexes and databases), Web resources, Print Reference resources (e.g. directories, dictionaries).
For information on how to search for species information in print or online, consult the Library's Help with Research page.
