Description:
Behind the Scenes of "Research Reproducibility Activities in Health Sciences Libraries"
In 2019 Informationists from the University of Michigan embarked upon an investigation into how medical and health sciences librarians engage with research reproducibility at their institution. But then the pandemic hit….
Four years and many challenges later, they published their paper “Research Reproducibility Activities in Health Sciences Libraries” in the Journal of eScience Librarianship. Join Mark MacEachern and Sara Samuel from the Taubman Health Sciences Library as they provide a “behind the scenes” look at how this paper evolved, including getting the study started, learning about and applying qualitative methods, and going through the publishing process. We will provide a brief summary of the paper during the webinar, and encourage attendees to read the paper. But don't worry, we'll still have Q&A time!
