By Kate Devitt. Combines Brian Leiter's reputational rankings with Google Scholar rankings while controlling for differences in number of citable documents published by different journals. Latest version also incorporates Scimago Quartile rankings.

The APA and the British Philosophical Association (BPA) have collaborated in surveying philosophy journals; 79 journals were selected to participate, and 43 submitted responses. The survey, which was conducted at the end of 2014, requested data about the journals’ submission rates, acceptance rates, and review process over the previous three years (2011, 2012, and 2013). The survey also asked questions about the percentages of papers submitted and accepted that were written by women and members of minority ethnic groups. The responses were provided by journal editors, and in those cases where journals do not record this kind of information, editors received data from their publishers to enable them to give responses.

The decade numbers resulted from searching Google Scholar for citations from 2000 through 2010; the data was gathered May 25-27, 2010 by Jonathan Kvanvig and posted to his Certain Doubts blog.
