Osamu Tezuka is a Japanese manga artist. A pioneering figure in the world of manga and anime, Tezuka has created several critically acclaimed comics, including Metropolis, Astro Boy, Black Jack and Adolf. Due to his contributions to the genre, he is known as the "god of manga," and was a key influence in early anime.
