Alan Moore is an English writer. He is best known for his work on the American comics Watchmen and Swamp Thing; science fiction comics for the Britsh Magazines 2000 A.D. (e.g. "Halo Jones" and "Future Shocks") and Warrior (e.g. "Marvelman", "V for Vendetta", and "The Bojeffries Saga"); and pastiche works such as Lost Girls and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
