MEDLINE (Ovid)MEDLINE encompasses articles from Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature, and International Nursing, as well as other sources in allied health and biological sciences. The Ovid MEDLINE content overlaps significantly with PubMed @ UM but has a different user interface.

PubMed @ U-MPubMed is an interface for MEDLINE, the premiere biomedical database.

CINAHL CompleteThe Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health (CINAHL) database includes dental hygiene.

Dentistry & Oral Sciences SourceIncludes scholarly and trade publications.

PsycInfo (APA)This database contains citations for journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports,and is an excellent source for psychosocial literature.

ScopusAn interdisciplinary set of databases. Especially good when you are looking for more international literature & when you need to find information on the psycho-social aspects of an issue. Scopus also lets you do cited reference searching; look for the Cited by link on the right.

Web of ScienceAn interdisciplinary database that includes conference proceedings, cited reference searching, & journal impact factors. Includes Journal Citation Index, which provides Impact Factors & other indications of a journal's influence. Web of Science also provides lists of articles that have cited the one you have found. Click on the Times Cited link to the right of the article.

AgeLine (EBSCO)AgeLine provides coverage of social gerontology--the study of aging in social, psychological, health-related, and economic contexts.
