Library Guide for International Students and Scholars

Quieter study areas are located throughout our library buildings. Although these spaces are not officially labeled as “quiet” — and some are quieter than others — they are typically known as places where you can do more focused work.

Whether you’re meeting for a group project or want an opportunity to socialize while you work, check out these spaces meant for collaboration.

You can reserve a space to focus on your own, do a phone interview, or work with a group.
Bookable Spaces include study rooms, collaboration rooms and carrels (Hatcher south carrels are quiet study spaces).

This is a study room for student parents and caregivers located in the basement, Room B002, Shapiro Library.
