Core Books in Women's and Gender Studies
The Women and Gender Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries maintains lists of 'core' books for the study of women and gender in a variety of disciplines. These are titles considered essential to support undergraduate- and graduate-level curricula in women's and gender studies, and only include items currently in print. These lists can be helpful for selecting course readings and understanding the current state of a disciplinary area.
