DMP Tool for templates, funder requirements, and sample plans

DMPTool

The DMP Tool is a free, open-source application that helps researchers create data management plans (DMPs). Under "Funder Requirements" find templates for DMPs specific to particular agency or organization requirements, along with links directly to funding agency documentation. You can also view sample DMPs tailored to specific funders.

DMP Tool - U-M templates

DMP Tool also holds templates created by U-M, including ones designed for qualitative/humanities research as well as DMP templates for research teams or labs.  

  • Sign into DMP Tool and select "Create Plan"
  • Under "Which DMP template would you like to use?" find U-M created templates
