Bathymetric Charts and Information on the Great Lakes
The NOAA website contains links to raw data in various formats as well as completed maps of Great Lakes bathymetry. There are also some bathymetric charts of the Great Lakes available physically at the Clark Library.
Michigan Inland Lake Maps
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has maps of over 2000 inland lakes in the state of Michigan. Physical copies of some of these maps are available at the Clark Library, including ones that may not be covered by Michigan DNR. Please contact clarklibrary@umich.edu if you require use of these maps.

Indiana Department of Natural ResourcesThe Lake and River Enhancement Section of the Division of Fish and Wildlife in the Indiana Department of Natural Resources have completed bathymetric surveys on selected lakes of northern Indiana starting in 2007. The maps are available through a PDF download without charge and are copyrighted by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

International Bathymetric Chart of the Arctic OceanThe International Bathymetric Chart of the Arctic Ocean was created with the goal to develop a digital database that contains the available bathymetric data north of 64 degrees North.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric AdministrationThe NOAA created a program to compile Great Lakes bathymetric data and make this data readily available to the public.

Office of Coast SurveyThe Office of Coast Survey’s Historical Map and Chart Collection features a rich archive of images of the U.S. government’s historical surveying and mapping. This collection contains over 35,000 scanned images including nautical charts, bathymetric maps, and city plans. Electronic copies are available through a free download to the public.
