Books published in 1929 or before may be out of copyright and open access in HathiTrust or Google Books. Search the Library Catalog for "Style manuals" then limit to Online. Limit again for a range of dates of 1929 or before.
Books published after 1929, still in copyright, may be discoverable in HathiTrust but are visible only in snippets. In this case look up the paper edition in the Library Catalog to find the original.
