The 2022 OSTP Memo
In 2022 the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) released a memorandum mandating that federally-funded agencies develop protocols for sharing their research. In short, this memo outlines that both publications and data created from federally-funded research must be available to the larger public. As the memo and its outcomes are complex, we offer resources to help researchers better understand what will be affected, when the changes will take effect, and how to prepare one's research for these changes:
