***Updates to the NIH Public Access Policy for 2025***

Beginning December 31, 2025, there will no longer be an optional 12 month embargo period in making Author Accepted Manuscripts publicly available. All NIH-funded Author Accepted Manuscripts accepted for publication in a journal on or after December 31, 2025 must be submitted to PubMed Central and made publicly available without embargo upon the date of publication.
