Introduction

This guide will get you started with finding music-related materials in the University of Michigan Library. Navigate using the blue tabs above to find books, scores, articles, etc.

The U-M Music Library is located in the Earl V. Moore Building on North Campus. It is one of the largest music collections in the country and houses an extensive collection of books, scores, audio & video recordings, periodicals, and microforms.

You need not be affiliated with the School of Music, Theatre & Dance to use the Music Library. The majority of the collection circulates, so if you're affiliated with the University (student, staff, or faculty), you may check out music materials. You may also login to Mirlyn and request any circulating materials to be sent for pickup at the campus library of your choice.
