Graduate Student Funding @ U-M
- CEW+Scholarships and fellowships administered by the CEW+. Approximately 40 Scholarships are awarded annually ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, with some larger scholarship awards given. Two CEW fellowship programs offer funding to UM graduate students.
- Dow Sustainability FellowsProvides a range of awards for graduate students and post-docs committed to working on sustainable solutions to national and international challenges.
- Ginsberg CenterGrants, scholarships, and paid internships administered by the Ginsberg Center, in support of service-learning and civic engagement projects and programs. Offered to students and student groups.
- Institute for Research on Women and GenderIRWG provides two annual grants to support doctoral student research on women, gender, or sexuality.

American Lung Association
Provides pre-doctoral support for nursing and other students conducting relevant social science research. Research areas of particular interest include psychosocial, behavioral, health service, health policy, epidemiological, biostatistical, and educational matters related to lung disease. 
Institute of International Education
Supports dissertation work at the intersections of population, reproductive health, and economic development.
American Council of Learned Societies
Offers travel grants and dissertation completion fellowships in the humanities and related fields.
