What to Deposit

NIH-Funded Journal Articles

  • Final peer-reviewed manuscript - after all reviewer comments have been addressed*
  • Acceptable formats:  .doc, .docx, rtf, or .pdf 
  • All supplemental materials (images, figures, etc.) not already in the manuscript
  • Accepted for publication after April 7, 2008

Do Not Deposit

  • Book chapters
  • Monographs - e.g. a writing of essay, book
  • Non-peer reviewed journal articles - e.g. letters to the editor, commentary, conference proceedings
  • Dissertations
  • Non-NIH funded manuscripts
     

*Final PDF published by the journal CANNOT be deposited without publisher permission.
