Finding Books

U-M Library Catalog SearchCatalog Search results will include everything in our physical collection (books, print journals, maps, musical scores, archival materials, etc.), as well as materials available online such as ebooks, streaming audio and video, and online journals.
Here are some tips:

Use Advanced Search, if you are looking for a specific title, author, subject, date or language.

Use quotation marks to search for exact phrases, e.g. “Cuban literature”.

Use AND (in all-caps) to ensure that both terms are in the results, or OR (in all-caps) tom ensure that one or the other term may be in the results.
