THL Citation Management

Tutorials provided by the Taubman Health Sciences Library on citation management programs.

About Zotero

Zotero is a citation management tool that works with Firefox and Chrome (and limited Safari functionality).

It has a desktop program with a web backup. The Zotero Connector recognizes and extracts citation information from websites, library catalogs, and databases. It enables you to easily save, organize, and create bibliographies of the sources you collect.

Zotero is powerful, easy-to-use, and free. Unlike many other citation managers, it works with Google Docs.

ZoteroBib

ZoteroBib  helps you to quickly create a bibliography in any citation style, using any computer or device, without creating an account or installing any software. It's free, it's simple - and it has no ads.

If you need to reuse sources across multiple projects or build a shared research library, choose the Zotero program.
