The University Research Corridor (URC) is an alliance between Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University. The Corridor is a collaborative effort to disseminate useful information for researchers and students to enhance outreach and collaborative efforts, speed up technology transfer and development among the member institutions.
Michigan Experts is a searchable database of research expertise across disciplines from several schools/colleges or institutes at the University of Michigan. It has been developed to foster intramural and extramural collaborations, and interdisciplinary research.
The NIH “RePorter system, is an electronic tool that allows users to search a repository of both intramural and extramural NIH funded research projects from the past 25 years and access publications since 1987, and patents resulting from NIH funding. In addition to NIH-funded research, the system provides access to research supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Pivot Profiles is a database of profiles of UM faculty that contains information about all aspects of a researcher’s academic career: qualifications, positions held, patents, publications, grants, honors and awards. Pivot Profiles can be used to find potential collaborators.
