HPC Resources

Advanced Research Computing (ARC)

ARC brings researchers and advanced computing resources together through a number of services and resources such as a shared computing cluster, Flux, operated on an allocation basis, and events for individuals engaged in computational discovery at U-M. Computer Aided Engineering Network (CAEN)

CAEN offers a comprehensive set of information technology services and resources that are available to all students, faculty, and staff in the College of Engineering, along with a host of services that are available campus-wide such as classroom technology.

Consulting for Statistics, Computing & Analytics Research (CSCAR) 

CSCAR is a service and research unit of the University of Michigan. Its staff provides statistical services including workshops, seminars, and software access.  CSCAR is located at the Rackham building and offers software help as well as a  list of external training and help documentation.

Spatial and Numeric Data Services (SAND)

The University Library's Spatial and Numeric Data Services (SAND) provides assistance with spatial data, numeric data, and statistics . SAND offers two labs, Central - located the Hatcher Graduate Library, and North - located in the Spatial Analysis Lab of the Art and Architecture Building, with advanced computers and software including ArcGIS, ArcView, ERDAS, SAS, SPSS, StatTransfer, Stata, Adobe Creative Suite, and more.
