Mirlyn Classic Features in Library Catalog Search
In Mirlyn Classic, if you ... In Library Catalog Search, use ...
Searched for specific titles, author’s names, journal/serial names, or series name The Advanced Search form, selecting the relevant options in the pull-down menus. E.g. Choose “Title,” “Author,” “Journal/Serial Title,” or “Series (transcribed).”
Searched by subject designated by Library of Congress headings The Advanced Search form, selecting the “Subject” option in the pull-down menu.

Additionally, you can create a more precise search with the Advanced Search form, by limiting your search to specific libraries and storage locations, date of publication, language, format, place of publication, etc.
