Library Guide for Transfer Students

Help for new transfer students about resources and services from the U-M Library.

Printing

Printing Basics

U-M students are encouraged to use their own laptops (connecting via MWireless) to send print jobs to library printers and copiers via MPrint, the University's web-based printing service. Students are charged against their University Basic Computing Package printing allocation each semester. To check your allocation or to learn more, visit the ITS Printing website.

Printing at Shapiro Undergraduate Library

The Shapiro Undergraduate Library is a great place if you need to print as there are three printing areas. The largest cluster of printers is located on the first floor just past the service desk which contains black/white printers, color printers, and a copier. There are two printers located on the third floor of the Undergraduate Library located by the large computer island in the center of the floor. Finally, there is a printer located on the fourth floor computer lab in room 4041.

Printers are also available on the second floor of the Hatcher Graduate Library as well as at other Campus Computing Sites.

Computers

Computers at the Library
