Social Explorer contains data from the first Census in 1790 to the present day. Using their data, the user can generate maps of population or specific demographic variables by location, as well as reports.

ADA Indigenous is a specialized trusted research data management facility for Australian Indigenous research data, providing a central hub for the preservation of and access to digital research data on topics involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction (discrete studies/surveys, datasets), and offers training in quantitative methods to facilitate effective data use.

This report describes Phase 1 of a support and evaluation project for the AIHW National best practice guidelines for collecting Indigenous status in health data sets (the Guidelines). The project, conducted between July 2011 and December 2012, helped to implement the Guidelines in selected areas, to document implementation activities, to collect baseline information, and to identify barriers to and facilitators for implementation

This site is a research portal for individuals looking for statistical and demographic data about American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians. All of the data on this site are publically (and digitally) available from their original sources – but this site brings them together in a user-friendly, intuitive manner. Although we realize that this is neither a comprehensive database, nor an exhaustive library, we hope that it provides a good starting point for research and facilitates access to a large portion of the current data about American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and the Department of Health WA (DoHWA), together with the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research undertook a collaborative project which aimed to explore and develop different methods for deriving Indigenous status from multiple data sources.
