In-Person Help at the Library

U-M Library offers all levels of reference service on a walk-in basis, by phone at (734) 763-4141 during service hours, by appointment, or by email at  The best place to get help in person is at the Hatcher Graduate Library Ask a Librarian desk on the 2nd floor of the Hatcher Graduate Library.

There are also many different desks throughout the different libraries on campus with staff that are happy to help you with any question you have--just walk right up!
