UROP Library Guide

Welcome to the University of Michigan's research guide for UROP students. This guide is an introduction to using library resources across all disciplines. The tutorials in this guide will help you to better locate books using Mirlyn, the library catalog, and locate articles using library databases. We've also included tips for locating citations to an article, or citing your sources. It is our hope that these tutorials will get you started with your research.

We recognize that many of you are working on specialized projects with your Research Sponsors, and it may be necessary for you to contact a librarian subject specialist.  The list of specialists and their contact information is here:

Need Help? Just Ask!

Librarians are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the library research environment at UM.  Stop by the reference desk on the first floor of the Undergrad Library, use our IM service, Ask a Librarian, text, call or email--we will help you in any way we can.
