What is Mi-AAHSL?
Mi-AAHSL Infoshare aims to provide a collaborative venue where member libraries can share their expertise, learn from colleagues and experts in the field, and come together to discuss key challenges we face on a daily basis.
Each Infoshare will consist of a day-long meeting focused on networking, information sharing, collaboration, and professional development opportunities that address the needs and priorities of librarians associated with academic health sciences libraries in Michigan.
Topics will be discussed and presented in a variety of formats, and will include (but are not limited to): systematic review searching & involvement, curricular integration, trends in medical education, emerging roles for health sciences librarians, assessment & evaluation, library integration with EMRs, emerging technologies, partnership & collaboration, data management, and scholarly communication. It is anticipated that meetings will be held 1-2 times per year, with hosting duties rotating between the six participating institutions (Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, Oakland University, University of Michigan, Wayne State University, and Western Michigan University).
