Welcome

The University of Michigan Library welcomes you to the University of Michigan!  As you begin your academic career we encourage you to explore the vast resources available to you at the MLibrary (really 19 libraries).  All of these are open for your use (the Kresge Business Library and the Law Library may have a few resources only for their students' use)

The most important thing to remember is that we, the MLibrary faculty (librarians) and staff, are here to assist you throughout your academic career - just ask!  Getting to us is easy, there is a box to the left that allows you to chat with a librarian during specific service hours or to contact us in other ways.  Also, we have videos, guides, and other kinds of ways to get help - simply go to the MLibrary web portal (http://www.lib.umich.edu/) and look under the Help tab.
