  • Gale Virtual Reference Library: brief encyclopedic entries on the war, the country, and people of interest, such as Fadéla M'rabet, Cherif Belkacem, and Ben Bella.
  • Oxford Reference Online: brief descriptions of places, organizations, and people of interest, including Algerian War of Independence, FLN, Salan, and more.

  • Europa World Plus: includes country map, flag, statistics, history, and much more (extensive descriptions).
