The Detroit Center in the Library

The UM Library’s Detroit Center program was created in response to the University’s effort to help the city of Detroit’s recovery and resurgence. The Library is dedicated to offering collaborative assistance in support of the Detroit Center partners’ research, teaching and service efforts in Detroit.

Activities include providing in-depth research consultation, reference assistance, and instruction in the efficient and effective use of information as well as offering: Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Numeric Data services, grant-seeking assistance, and more

    All things Detroit. This guide serves as a clearinghouse for information on Detroit, including blogs; community agencies, organizations, and initiatives; city government information; and suburban communities of southeast Michigan.
