Materials in Mirlyn not Available?
If a book (or video or other item in Mirlyn) is checked out, you have a couple of options:
Recall the Item
You can recall the item by clicking on the "Get This" button in the item record:

The material will then be recalled from the patron who has checked it out (and will be due back in about a week from the time you place the recall). Once returned, you will receive an email that the item will be placed on hold for you at the Library Circulation desk of your choosing.
Request the Item through Interlibrary Loan
You can place an Interlibrary Loan request for the item, and the library will request the material from another library on your behalf. Once it arrives, you will be notified via email that it is on hold for you at the Hatcher Circulation desk.
