Print and Microform Resources

The Herbarium Library holds over 10,000 books on taxonomic and systematic botany, with works that focus on plants by family as well as by location.  Many works of this type may also be found at the Biological Station Library.  Other botanical resources NOT focusing on systematics or taxonomy may be found in the Shapiro Library.

In addition, the Herbarium Library holds an extensive collection of microform (microfilm and microfiche), which allows you to view the holdings of herbaria collections from around the world.  Viewing machines are available on-site.
