Which database should I use?

In order to find scholarly articles, you must use a database. Databases are designed to help you find particular kinds of results (scholarly articles, newspaper articles, images, etc.) or material on particular subjects (psychology research, medical research, media studies, etc.).

When searching for articles on your topic, it is a good idea to use more than one database. Often, your topic will be studied by scholars in more than one subject area. By searching multiple databases, you can find more than one perspective on your research question.

Below you'll find databases that are relevant for women's health topics. Use at least one database from each box to find scholarly articles on your topic from a range of subject areas.
