- Le DevoirFounded in 1910, this French-language intellectual newspaper is an independent paper published in Montreal, and is considered a newspaper of record. The library's online subscription dates back to 1996.

- La PresseFounded in 1884, this large circulation, French-language daily paper is owned by Groupe Gesca. The library links to the current issue only, although some archived articles can be found here: http://www.cyberpresse.ca/archives/.
- Le SoleilFounded in 1896, this French-language daily newspaper is published in Quebec City. The library does not subscribe to this newspaper, but the online version of the current issue is linked here.
- The Globe and MailFounded in 1936, this Canadian English-language newspaper is published in Toronto and is considered a newspaper of record. The library's online subscription dates back to 1977.
