What is EndNote Basic?

EndNote Basic is a web-based version of EndNote, and can be used either with the desktop version or on its own.

If you have a lot of references and want to store and highlight many PDFs the desktop version of EndNote will be your best option.  If you want to store references and some PDF documents online you may want to check out the basic version.
